When I Google this problem I find a lot of messages from people who have had this same problem, but no solutions that work. Firefox just laughed at me and said 'Nope, you're not getting out of nanny mode that easily!' I even tried exporting that security exception and importing it into my normal profile. If I boot this version of Firefox into an empty profile, I get the Risks option and I can add an exception which works. Manually adding a security exception doesn't do %$#!. So why don't I just go into the options and manually add a security exception? Gee, why didn't I think of that? My only choices are 'Get me out of here' and 'Technical details'.
